TO VIEW YOUR FEDERAL STUDENT LOANS such as:

  • Direct Student Loan
  • Direct Grad PLUS
  • Stafford Loan
  • Grad PLUS

you must go to the Federal Student Aid website and log in with your FSA ID. In the box marked 'My Aid':

  • Click on the 'View Details' link and a new screen will appear
  • Under the 'Loans' tab, click on the 'View Breakdown' link
  • After the screen auto-scrolls to the bottom, click on the 'View Loans' button

Your loan history should display on the screen** for you to review.

When you have your FSA ID ready, click the button below to visit the Federal Student Aid website.

Click here to go to studentaid.gov

(Note: Upon clicking the above button, the website that will appear is NOT a website of UCLA.)

**Please note that studentaid.gov will also display some of your UC/campus-based student loans such as Perkins Loan (FFELP) and various health profession related loans (Loans for Disadvantaged Students, Health Professions Student Loan, Primary Care Loan, and Nursing Student Loan), but not necessarily all your UC/campus-based students loans. To view your UC/campus-based loans, click on the ‘Back’ button and follow the ‘Step 1’ instructions.

(Your loan history will be drawn from the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS), the U.S. Department of Education’s central database for student aid that receives data from schools, guaranty agencies, the Direct Loan program, and other Department of Education programs. It provides a centralized, integrated view of Title IV loans and grants so that recipients of Title IV Aid can access and inquire about their Title IV loans and/or grant data.)
